Private Dog Training Sessions

Private Dog Training: Please contact us for rates as each situation is unique, sessions range from $190 (trainer only)-$235 (trainer and assistant) for 1.5 hour evaluation/session. Additional sessions after evaluation session are 1 hour and are $170-$215 (trainer and assistant) for each following session, depending on location and certain circumstances (milage can apply depending on the training location).

Traveling to the trainers location (West Hollywood, Valley Village, North Hills) is one option for a discounted rate, depending on what type of training is needed.

Private sessions are available in West Hollywood, Valley Village and surrounding areas. Training sessions where dogs need to be socialized and worked with other dogs are normally done in West Hollywood and involve the extra fee for my assistant to be with us during the session.

FaceTime Sessions

For certain training issues, we are able to offer FaceTime Training Sessions. Sessions start at 30 mins and are increased in time/cost every additional 15 minutes. Speaking with the trainer will determine if this is an option for you and your pet.

30 mins-$75

Each additional 15 mins, $15 with a 30 minute session.

This option is perfect for those that are getting a new dog and need help on what to do right from day one and if needed, how to start with potty training. This option is also good for those that have already had a session or two in person and need a refresher or a little more help with a certain subject.

For those that do not have an iphone (or messenger installed on your iphone), you will need to install Facebook Messenger. Install Facebook Messenger on Android from the Google Play store and Facebook Messenger for the iPhone from the App Store. This training option can also be done via a regular phone call, sometimes text or email will need to be sent to show the client photos of items we are discussing, if a video call is not an option.

We unfortunately do not train dogs that are on any oral flea medications or oral heartworm medications due to the health issues and behavioral issues they are causing. We have seen slight to very serious side effects, including death, of the pet from taking these products. Please ask us for more information on this if you are currently giving any of these oral medications to your pet.

Bow Wow Boot Camp

Cost and length of Bow Wow Boot Camp dog training camp depends on the dogs training needs. Most popular dog training camps are where the dog comes and lives w/the dog trainer for 7 nights learns basic and advanced (verbal and with hand signals) obedience leash commands:

sit, stay, down, recall (come) and heel (loose lease walking by your side) ... and I work on their crate training, in home manners. This camp is $2500. We also have 3 night or 5 night dog training camps, depending on where your dog is on obedience and what your dog needs help with. Shorter camp prices will be determined by what work your pet needs help on.

Puppy Bow Wow Boot Camps where the puppy comes and lives with the trainer for 7 nights is $3000 where they learn basic and advanced commands (verbal and with hand signals) lease obedience: sit, stay, down, recall (come) and heel (loose lease walking by your side) ... and I work on their crate training, in home manners and if needed potty training.

If the puppy knows all their commands and just need potty training, a 7 night potty training only camp is $1500 and can be broken down into 3, 4, 5, or 6 nights for a reduced price.

Potty training and all commands will then be taught to the owner and they will need to continue the training at their home.

Bow Wow Boot Camps can be done at the clients home during daily private sessions and during a pet sitting stay.

Many clients book a camp for the dog to come and live with the trainer when they are going to be away on vacation, but can also book pet sitting in their home for a training camp. We do not do pet sitting for dogs that are not part of our dog walking family or training family.

Mini Bow Wow Boot Camps at certain LA locations are available with pre-booking.

These sessions are $100 a session and sessions are 45 mins in length, must book at least 3 sessions and dog must be evaluated by trainer in a 1.5 hour session to see if this training option is a fit for the dog and owner.

These camps are where the owner brings to dog to the trainer each day for 3-10 days (depending on how long the dog needs) and the trainer works w/the dog or the dog and the owner.

Rates for Dog Walking

Private Dog Walks in your neighborhood for clients that need our monthly dog walking service of five times a week or more, Mon-Fri between 9am-5pm. We do walk outside of these times/days for an additional charge.

We currently have an opening for a 30 minute group walk client on Monday and Wednesday in the Fountain/Vine area around 2pm.

Our service area is West Hollywood/Hollywood Hills/Miracle Mile/Fairfax District and surrounding areas.

Please note: clients that request their dog to be walked during peak hours 12-2pm there is an additional $2 charge per walk and no discounts apply. Areas outside of West Hollywood are subject to a $2 per mile milage charge.

Dog Walking requests that are within 7 days of the start date, have an additional 60% surcharge added for provided service if we are able to arrange the schedule to accommodate.

Pet Sitting: This service is an exclusive service for our existing clients only. New monthly dog walking clients, Bow Wow Boot Camp training clients or referrals in the West Hollywood Area (must say who referred you) are able to access this service.

In clients home:

12 hours: $160, approximately 7pm-7am

One or two additional hours before 7pm arrival time, or after 7am departure time, is at $30 an hour. Extended time between the hours of 9am-5pm is an additional $40 an hour.

This is for four pets in the house that regularly live there. Additional pets in the home are an extra $5 per pet per night. Outside pets (friends, family, foster etc) are an additional $30 a pet per night. If you have a pet that is special needs that involves specific medical care, it is an additional $40 per night for that pet.

AM/PM medications in food are free of charge as long as the pet takes the medications easily. We do not give baths, cut nails, give injections or fluids.

Mileage is charge for pet sitting outside of our 3 mile radius@$2 a mile. Initial meeting to get keys is a free 30 minute visit, any additional visits needed are charged at our normal rates.

Pet sitting requests that are within 7 days of the start date, have an additional 60% surcharge added for provided service if we are able to arrange the schedule to accommodate. Please note we book out 2-3 months in advance, and there are additional surcharges for bookings that are 6 weeks or less from the start date.
