A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
Pets have always been an important part of my life, and I’m grateful that my passion for helping them became my career as a dog trainer. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing from California State University, Long Beach, and studied animal behavior and dog training under Master Dog Trainer Steve Morrissey.
For years I ran the nonprofit Animals, People & Environment Action, focused on animal rescue. Through that work I helped save, rehabilitate, and adopt out hundreds of dogs. Combined with my dog training work for Los Angeles rescues, this experience has given me invaluable hands-on experience working with many breeds, temperaments, and behavioral challenges.
I believe you must first earn a dog’s trust before you can truly communicate and teach them. I do not use harsh training methods. Instead, I train using tone, words, praise, and treats so the experience stays positive and engaging for the dog. Training should be enjoyable, and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch a dog understand, learn, and have fun during the process.

Training camps are the fastest way to train your dog and address behavior issues.
Dogs must first understand basic obedience before behavioral issues can be addressed. Whether your dog already has this foundation and needs help with specific challenges, See Spot Stay will design a training program that fits your dog’s needs.
Training plays an important role in the relationship between dog, owner, and household members. When done correctly, dog training is an investment that improves your dog’s behavior and will benefit your pet for life.

Includes personal session, written instruction, and videos.
Private dog training sessions are available at the trainer’s location in West Hollywood or in the client’s home.
An evaluation session is first done to assess your dog’s behavior and determine the best training plan. Future sessions focus on practicing those skills, along with homework for both the client and their dog so progress continues between sessions.
Sessions are structured to help dogs learn quickly while improving communication between dog and owner.
